This is a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, March 1st will be the last 21st Century Make-up day. There is no ESSER Tutoring on Friday, but there will be 21st Century tomorrow.
Tuesday is Early Release and there will be no tutoring or 21st century. All students will be released at 12:35 tomorrow 2/27/2024.
Tuesday, February 27, 2024, Robert H. Jenkins, Jr. Elementary School will host the Superintendent for his February Community Engagement Session. The session is to begin at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. All families and community members are invited. You will park on the cafeteria side (parent drop-off and pick-up parking lot). Doors will open at 5:45.
This week kicks off Read Across America! Each day, students and staff are encouraged to join in on the fun by dressing up according to the daily theme. See the flier below for the list of daily themes. Tomorrow is crazy sock day! Let's see those crazy socks!

While we do not have FFA at our school, we are proud to represent our secondary schools that do. Jenkins is building their brand new agriculture program in our K-5 classrooms. Ms. Degeyter is doing a fantastic job of introductory lessons in Agricultural Education and we couldn't be more proud. The future looks bright for our program.
Thursday, Feb 22 is also a very special GIVE FFA DAY. If you feel so inclined, please donate to any local FFA program or to the Jenkins Elementary School Agriculture program.

Teaching and inspiring the adults of our future is a tough job and our staff takes on this challenge wholeheartedly each and every day. We want to show our staff that their efforts have not gone unnoticed. Tomorrow, February 14th, JES will host a dessert bar for our educators & staff to show our LOVE.
We are still in need of store-bought goodies (cookies, brownies, cakes, snacks...) and drinks for the dessert bar. If you can donate, every donation is much appreciated. Today is the last day for donations for this cause. Thank you for everything you do <3
Robert H. Jenkins loves their educators and staff! In February we are showing our love for our staff. On February 14, 2024, we will have a dessert bar for all Jenkins Elementary staff. We are in need of donated store-bought goodies and desserts. (drinks, cookies, cupcakes,..). If you are able to donate, please have all donations turned in to the office no later than February 13, 2024.
